Posizione ottimale per visitare i Sassi...

Che dire! Non mi aspettavo una location di così ridotte dimensioni. Tutto molto rustico (rudimentale e vecchio)... dalla testata del letto, alla panca, dall'armadio (inesistente!), alla doccia.... per finire il centrino sul piccolo tavolino accanto all'ingresso (portatore solo di polvere!) Nella stanza si percepisce perennemente il classico odore di umidità... che si sentiva anche nelle lenzuola! Nella stanza, coperta, c'era la caldaia dell'acqua calda che serviva anche altre camere, perennemente in funzione e quindi che faceva rumore. Nemmeno una piccola TV Insomma non vedevamo l'ora di scappare... BELLO PER CHI VUOLE VIVERE UN'ESPERIENZA D'ALTRI TEMPI.

Ótima localização, no centro do Sasso Caveoso. Anfitrião simpático e atencioso, foi me esperar no estacionamento e me conduziu até o B&B.

Quarto e banheiro escuros, com muita pouca luz natural.

The property is in the middle of the historic downtown.

Everything was adequate. There were a few cobwebs in the ceiling and in the bathroom, but nothing serious. The owner asked us to cancel the booking and pay in cash for a cheaper price, but you cannot cancel the day of the booking in the app and receive your money back.

Wunderschönes Sassi in zentraler Lage in Matera. Herzlicher Empfang durch den Gastgeber und eine Unterkunft, die unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen hat. Der Ausblick auf Matera ist einfach fantastisch. Frühstücksmöglichkeiten in netten Cafés sowie Parkplätze befinden sich ganz in der Nähe. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Purtroppo il wifi non funzionava

I didn’t stay here myself, but I visited the property and had the chance to see the rooms and the facilities. First of all, the location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of the city. It’s within walking distance of some of the best restaurants and cafés in the area. I had the opportunity to see the room with a balcony, and the view was simply stunning. The moment you step onto the balcony, the beauty of the scenery literally takes your breath away. The property manager, Nunzio, is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. He genuinely goes out of his way to make sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need. His hospitality alone makes this place stand out. If I ever come back to this area, I’m certain that this is where I’ll choose to stay.

We didn’t end up staying here because the balcony room we wanted was no longer available. The property was completely fully booked, which says a lot about its popularity. For that reason, I would definitely recommend making a reservation well in advance before your trip.
