The only hard part was finding the place, as addresses in this area seem to not align well with the mapping applications. That said, from initial communication with Enza prior to check-in, through our entire stay, this was an exceptional experience. If you want a stunning location off the beaten path of in the town of Positano, this is it. The husband and wife team who created this retreat could not have done more to make our stay comfortable. Do be aware, when they say there are a lot of steps, take this seriously. Going up and down dozens of steps are few times of day is not for the unfit! They did not let us carry our bags, and watching Alberto and/or his cousin or Enza carry them made us feel embarrassed at how much luggage we had, but it was a 12 day trip! Our suite was so comfortable and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the view amazing. A double rain shower was a fun part of the bathroom and amenities were perfect in the bathroom. A well stocked refrigerator/mini-bar had some lovely local items. Breakfast can be in your room or in the kitchen. We opted to go upstairs to talk with our hosts and learn local travel tips, which they were great at sharing. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Made-to-order eggs, cappuccino, local jams and honey, fresh fruit and croissants and yogurt was all part of the bounty. Free parking on-site was available, but we never moved the car--walking into the little town for dinner both nights at Il Ritrivo (delicious) and walking 1000 steps down (took the bus back) into Positano. Lovely experience all around. Thank you for making our trip special and for the lovely surprise of "momma's" fresh pizza for lunch!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Petrea Lifestyle Suites, and I can confidently say this has been one of the most delightful experiences I've had in recent memory. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was perfect. The suites themselves are beautifully designed and incredibly spacious, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The attention to detail is evident, with high-quality furnishings and modern amenities that make you feel right at home. I particularly enjoyed the stunning views from my balcony, providing a serene backdrop for my morning exceptional breakfast.

It is a bit difficult to go down to the downtown from the hotel, however owner will assist you to find a taxi.

Alberto and Enza were the most amazing hosts. Very warm and welcoming onto their incredible property in paradise. Amazing breakfasts, excellent interior design and a great location for nature, views and walking, all just a stones throw above beautiful Positano.

We had the most amazing stay in Positano the view was spectacular view with such warm hospitality!

The hosts, Enza and Alberto, are fantastic. They are eager to make sure your stay and your experience in Positano are wonderful and they succeeded, in our opinion. The suite was beautiful and the view amazing. Our delicious breakfast was served on the patio each morning. We received great recommendations for things to do. The Path of the Gods hike is nearby and gorgeous. We took the long stairs to the beach and town and the convenient bus home. We highly recommend staying at these lovely accomodations, with these fantastic hosts.

This is not a criticism but guests with mobility issues might be intimidated by the steps down to the suits. I have arthritic knees and use a cane but I managed ascending and descending many times over the duration of our stay without a problem.

The view from outside the room is just amazing. The host is also great and super helpful.

Guests could find it a bit difficult to reach the location the first time.

Amazing views over the ocean. The room was beautifully presented. Our hosts Enza and Alberto were fantastic and very helpful with helping us determine the best things to do around the area. The breakfast was awesome. A great place to stay near Positano.

The roads around the area are tough to drive on but this is the case across the Amalfi coast.

The accommodation was perfect, and the host, Alberto, was extremelly helpful and friendly. He gave us excelent recommendations not only for Positano and Amalfi, but also tips for our trip in the south of Italy.
