From April 24-27, 2025, we booked an apartment in Sicily at Del Toscano Home through your website. 3 nights with breakfast. I chose this accommodation because they wrote nice comments on Booking. Of these, only one was true, that the owners are kind. I thought I was going to a hotel. In reality, I found myself on the 4th floor of an 8-storey house, where basically was an Airbnb of 3 rooms, each room for one reservation. The place had paper thin walls. In the bathroom the corners were full of mold, just like the wall and the shower. It is clear that the bath hasn’t been cleaned for a very long time. The shower head was full of rust and mold. My child has asthma , the nights were very difficult, because her lungs can’t handle any kind of irritation, such as the one mold causes. Luckily, the Asthma Sray was at hand otherwise we would have ended up at the hospital. We were told there will be housekeeping everyday. This only happened on the first day. The toilet was leaking, we had to flush three or four times to stop the dripping. There was no toilet paper. The socket closer to the bathroom wasn’t working. I noticed at home, that bedding on the bed was extra fee. I would have never even thought that at a European accommodation had to be paid separately for the bedding. The blanket had spots of different origins. It could have been blood. The tea filter that was placed in the room was not wrapped, it was dusty. The kettle, which had several days or even weeks old water sitting in it, was starting to smell. The breakfast was 6 coupon, which could be redeemed in 3 different places. The nearest one with 3 staircases was always closed. The one that was open was a 15minute walk away from the accommodation.

Good and convenient location, size of the room is ok. Very friendly owner, always was ready to help. We left our bags earlier and went to the city center.

Very dangerous stair in the bathroom which you are not expect to see, and can fall down, especially in the night.

Location is close to a metro station and Alibus station. 10 min from city's center and train station. Nice host. Good for 1 night stop.

Bathroom not so clean. Even it is close to Alibus station, cause the bus makes a round trip, it takes 1 hour from there to get to the airport.
