Don Carlo Tropea

The room was beautifully renovated, both inside and out. We had everyhting, even little extras like a basket with towels and stuff for the beach. Nestled in a central location, we were just steps away from all main points, yet it was surprisingly quiet. The open terrace was a standout future - sunny during the day without being too hot, magical at night, a lot of light, decorated with a cactus, a lime and good music. In front of it a tall pine, all evoking a subtle Mediterranean feel. Each morning, we were greeted with a fresh delicious breakfast and returned later in the day to find our bed perfectly made! The owned was genuinely pleasant and helpful, always around when needed but never intrusive. It is rare to find such a warm hospitality! Thank you!

I really enjoyed the modern bathroom, spacious bed and the rooftop terrace. The host was exceptional, providing recommendations and being a very accommodating.

Absolutely unforgettable! My stay in Tropea was perfect, and a big part of that was thanks to the wonderful accommodation and the amazing host, Karina. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the most stunning beaches in Calabria and the charming historic center of Tropea. The space is cozy, spotless, and beautifully decorated, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and that truly makes all the difference. And I have to say—I absolutely loved the shower! :) It was powerful, relaxing, and just what I needed after a day exploring. Karina was an exceptional host: warm, attentive, and always available to help with local tips, restaurant recommendations, sightseeing ideas—anything I needed. Her hospitality really elevated the entire experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place! If you’re thinking of visiting Tropea, there’s no better place to stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Carina and her husband were the kindest, most friendly hosts. They poured love into every aspect of our stay making sure we could spend every minute enjoying our holiday. We had parking issues and even a flat tyre that they immediately sorted out of the kindness of their hearts. Breakfast was so delicious with home made jams, omelettes, fruit, granola etc. Rooms were spacious bright and comfortable, and tastefully decorated. I couldn't recommend Don Carlo high enough. Our stay at Don Carlo B&B was nothing short of exceptional. Located in the historic center and close to the breathtaking beaches of Tropea, this charming bed & breakfast combines comfort, style, and warm hospitality in the best possible way. Our room was immaculate—modern, spacious, and beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. We also had a lovely balcony with a view of the old town. What truly sets Don Carlo apart is the service. The hosts Karina and Carlo were incredibly kind and attentive. They clearly take pride in making each guest feel welcome and cared for. Breakfast on the roof terrace was a real treat. Don Carlo B&B offers the ideal mix of modern comfort and local charm. Whether you're visiting Tropea for the first time or returning to this beautiful town, I can’t recommend it highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Karina was a great host and prepared an amazing breakfast every day.

Had to be in two rooms as a family, but it was a great place and super location with an amazing breakfast on the roof.

It would have been nice to all be in one room or be able to connect our two rooms as a family.

Great accommodation - big rooms, nicely decorated, nice terrace, close to everything. Breakfast was also nice, and the host friendly and helpful. Thank you for hosting!
