Villa Sacro Cuore

Hi. Location was optimal. Owner was friendly, open, and helpful.

Only one thing comes when I ponder this. All was excellent. The owner was excellent. However, would be more transparent and honest to include the total price someone is going to be charged….on the actual platform (Booking.com) that one is registering and paying on. Or at least advise on private email the actual total and the manner in which the second payment is expected. 🙄 A minor item to mention . All else was excellent

Signore Luciano a very.warm person welcoming me with such care and pleasant stay . He make sure ypu are comfortable and safe while staying, show the much livable improvements of the entire area and the most important is the live Eucharist in the Chapel where ypu can pray and medidate, a place I recommend good for the PILGRIMS all over the world. i felt blessef staying in this place with such solemness and high spirit of Padre Pio...very clise to the Sanctuary.

NOTHING AT ALL

I only spent one night at Villa Sacro Cuore but I really enjoyed it. First of all it’s literally only couple minutes walk from everything I wanted to visit: Sanctuary of Padre Pio, Cappuchin Monastery and Chiesa Antica. On top of that Bus stop is basically around the corner and there is also a good choice of restaurants in the neighbourhood. In general it’s a very central location to everything you want to see and do in San Giovanni Rotondo. My room was rather basic but clean and for the price I paid I couldn’t ask for more however one of the best things about Villa Sacro Cuore was its host Luciano. He was very friendly and helpful and ready to go that extra mile to accommodate his guests. He really made me feel welcomed and drove me with his car to the city centre when I wanted to attend an evening mass. In general I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to visit San Giovanni Rotondo. If I’m ever back I will definitely choose this accommodation.

Location was perfect. A few meters to the sanctuary. There is a chapel at the first floor , perfect for prayer.
