SUD room Palazzo Rau della Ferla

This was a perfect start for the holiday at Sicily. As our flight first was cancelled because of the outburst of the Etna, we had to fly two days later. We contacted the owners of the palazzo, Martian and Alfonso, that we had this trouble and if we could be at thee hotel one day later, still for two days. Even that they planned those days to shut down and clean up every room for the busy weeks after, we could come. But also they waited for our late arrival (1:15 hrs AM!!!!) Those two are very special and we are vere thankfull. To them! We had the upper room with our own terrace, big, clean, wonderful. Thank you so much Martina and Alfonso!! When coming again to Sicily I will give you a call! And stay at the palazzo…

It was perfect!

Fantastic room! Perfect location

Room was very clean. Host was lovely and informative about the area. Minibar was full of free items including water, fresh fruit,cakes and topped up daily. Free car parking at front door. Comfortable bed. Overall an excellent experience.

We’ve been to Noto a few times, and this was by far the best place we’ve ever booked. A great location, a spacious loft apartment in an old ‘palazzo’, furnished with original and charming furniture, a little private outside terrace, coffee/tea making facilities in the room, and a fridge stocked with drinks and treats. Perfect! We definitely plan to return!

Everything was great, but if I had to pick just one minus point, then it was the lack of sockets in the room to plug in chargers for our devices.

A beautiful room in a real palace, spacious, quiet, with a terrace. Practically in the center of the site.
