"Just beautiful."

What a magical place to stay. Our host was so helpful with parking as well as giving us a great insight to the history of the area. We used 3 of the 4 beautiful rooms available, set back through a small enclosed courtyard. Would highly recommend this stay.

"Ein ganz besonderer Platz"

Am Anfang war die unübertreffliche Begrüßung durch Michele! Er brachte uns die Besonderheit von Matera nahe, erklärte uns unter anderem, was ein Vicinato ist (Die Wohngemeinschaft oder Nachbarschaft) und zeigte uns Abdrücke versteinerter Muscheln in den Felsen. Grazie, Michele! Das Casa Ferri ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, eine Höhlenwohnung, mit allem Komfort. So wie ganz Matera ist es ein faszinierender, bezaubernder Ort.

Es war perfekt.

"We loved Casa Ferri and will definitely be back"

The welcome was charming, funny and very informative. What’s not to love about staying in a cave! It was very nicely decorated and a lovely E’s ape from the heat outside .

The water on the shower didn’t drain fast enough so it could have been v easy to flood the bathroom but very easily resolved I’m sure .
