"Great house to stay at."

Great location. Five minutes walk to the train station then 2 minutes into Kyoto. Heaps of space in the house. And all the facilities needed to be self contained. Restaurants and shops all nearby.

Nice place, great host, really nice facilities and the location is pretty solid nearby convenience stores as expected.

Further from sightseeing destinations than I thought not too far but I kinda expected closer. Some low parts of the ceiling you need to be mindful if you're on the taller side I still hit my head more than a few times tho.

Great location with good public transport options, local shops and dining nearby. The accommodation is very self contained and feels like a home away from home with great laundry facilities and well appointed kitchen. Friendly host.

There's ample space but would benefit from dedicated storage facilities to put luggage out of the way and provision of clothes hanging shelves or rails. The parking space is very tight. The futon bedding was better than the double bed and all bedding (sheets, blankets and particularly pillows) could be improved.

"Enjoyed our stay, minor updating needed"

Good location, easy access to transport routes, bathing facilities very nice, Daniel was great and thank you for the extra mile in sending forgotten items. Well stocked with kitchen things for use, dryer was a great bonus especially in winter. We enjoyed our stay overall. The bath is at the end with the walls to the outside so unfortunately it was on the cold side as some have mentioned but a small bit effective heater was provided and did the job well. Kids enjoyed the selection of movies provided.

Heater was a bit underpowered for the living space so it was on the cold side, sofas could use some updating as it's been well used.
