Very well situated if you want to do the Shimanami Kaido bike ride (right next to the train station and the bike rental). Nice vibe, clean and comfortable. The owner is also very nice.

I felt a little pressured to make a decision regarding the luggage forwarding service on the night before starting the Shimanami Kaido, even though I still didn't know at that point if a bike would be available for me. The bike rental shop can also take care of your luggage with no prior reservation which was a relief. So then you don't need to part with your belongings the night before.

Le personnel était adorable, encore merci à Masa San pour son accueil. L’emplacement est vraiment idéal, l’auberge en elle même est très agréable et propre. Après les kilomètres dans les jambes de la shimanami kaido c’est l’endroit idéal pour se reposer.

The hostel is very well designed with all the woodwork details which create a very nice interior atmosphere. It is bicycle-friendly offering a garage for parking at the back where you can do the laundry as well. You can get a lot of information about shimanami kaido and travelling in japan from the reception and the library. The staff is very kind and helpful.
