Guesthouse Oomiya base 大宮基地別荘

The atmosphere at the quest house was quite informal, so therefore very comfortable. The host, Kamijo, was enormously the reason for this. He handled requests from his guests with ease and a sense of calmness, hence creating a relaxing situation for everyone staying there. I would definitely stay there again when visiting the Chiba City area or even Tokyo area, and I will probably bring my family with me as there is a remarkable family room that could accommodate several members (4+) of the family, and even friends!

The transportation system for getting to Chiba City train station was at first tricky to figure out, but I figured it out in less than twenty minutes. And, once you access Chiba City station there are so many train lines to choose from to get to the Tokyo area, Yokohama, other sightseeing destinations in Chiba Prefecture, and of course Narita Airport and Haneda Airport (in Tokyo).

The host was very, very nice. He offers a shuttle and a simple breakfast. But you can also reach the house with a bus. He really likes to get to know his guests and even invited us on a trip to a surrounding Prefecture, showing us typical japanese style food and an Onzen. I greatly enjoyed my stay in this friendly house, with garden in a quite area of Chiba.
