Beach House Cambodia

Direkt am Pear gelegen, ihr lauft 100 Meter zur Unterkunft. Sehr schön am Strand, tolle Atmosphäre, auch abends, sie bieten ein drei Gänge Menü für 8 Dollar an. Die Zimmer haben einen Balkon zum draußen sitzen.

Preis Leistung stimmt leider nicht, da es ein Weißer betreibt, unterstützt ihr hier nicht die Locals, Zimmer mittelmäßig sauber, da hilft auch kein Bademantel. Es wäre toll, wenn man hier wirklich angemessen günstig wohnen könnte, dann wäre es ein Traum, so ist es auf ‚Teufel komm raus’ einem höherem Standard hinterher gerannt. In der Nähe findet ihr gute Locale Restaurants, die von Einheimischen betrieben werden, leider schon zu viele Ausländer, die die Strand Zeile ‚besetzen‘.

We liked the location of the property as it was on the beach. The seats outside the room were nice to sit on with a view of the beach. The room had good air con.

The chef was unwell and no food, drinks or services were available. Reception was closed so there was no one around to ask any questions etc. this was unfortunate 😢 The room was mouldy and as a result our clothes felt damp. (There was no rain during our stay there). Place has lots of potential but needs refurbished in our opinion.

-Can’t lock the door from the inside so everybody could enter when you sleep -Bed linen had stains -The second room upstairs is basically unusable, door was open when I arrived, bed was dirty with leaves etc. and it seemed like there is living a rat family (at least I could hear the squeaky sound and walking) -Asked to be picked up at the pier to help with my luggage, was assured someone will help me, told them my arrival time and in the end nobody was there -Water was gone many times, the owner told me it‘s an island problem but surprisingly it worked everywhere else I went

Great little place on the beach with a lovely vibe and happy staff

The staff were great - very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, being right on the beach, close to the pier, and nearby the little town. There's free filtered water, and the meals made by the kitchen were always delicious.

I wasn't able to lock my room from the inside. So, at night, I felt very uncomfortable and concerned that someone could easily enter my room. The guesthouse/bar next door was extremely loud on one of the nights I stayed. The rooms are not soundproof at all. I felt like I was trying to sleep underneath a speaker. So, I would encourage people to bring earplugs for the nights.

propreté dans la chambre (crottes de gecko) et moustique mais il fallait s’y attendre c’est la nature et c’est aussi pour ça qu’on aime ce genre d’endroit

- room was not particularly clean on arrival - no hot water from shower - upgrades to pillows required - old/frayed/ stained towels - very hard mattress to our taste - overhead pipe work started to leak slowly in bathroom - no daily housekeeping - lots of mosquitos Overall we did not feel comfortable during our stay
