View Khemkhong Guesthouse

This is a very cozy accommodation. The bed is comfortable, and the room is clean, facing the Mekong River. The place has a lovely big white dog and two cats to keep you company. The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. You can ask them to help book transportation to Kuang Si Falls and train tickets to Luang Prabang at reasonable prices. The location is excellent, making it easy to walk to the early morning alms-giving ceremony, Wat Xieng Thong, the Royal Palace, Mount Phousi, and both the morning and night markets. I highly recommend this quality accommodation in Luang Prabang to everyone.

excellent location near the river bank. Many restaurants and cruise stands nead this.hostel. Easy access to the main strest.and thd Royal Museum.

wifi signal strength is weak. Not very reliable. I use my cellular data plans.

Location was excellent. Rooms were clean. Staff extremely helpful with information and assistance. Safe and reasonably comfortable.

In one of the rooms, the aircon leaked and wet the bed. The staff took action as soon as they were informed.

The hotel is 50 metres from the Mekong river and restraunts. The Palace and temples are within 500 metres. The money exchange at the hotel was the same as the money exchanges throughout the town.
