Beautiful room and bathroom, and the special attention to detail made us very happy and comfortable. Fabulous location. Communication was immediate and Rossanna went out of her way to be helpful. It was my husbands birthday and there was a special treat waiting for him when we got there. Staying here made our visit to wonderful Matera even better. Also, the tips on where to eat were very helpful. Magical, would happily book again.

Erinomainen sijainti, majoituspaikan edestä oli paras näköala Materaan. Vuokraemäntä Rossana oli todella ystävällinen ja auttavainen. Huoneisto oli kaunis ja tunnelmallinen, sieltä löytyi mukavia yksityiskohtia ja jopa herkkuja oli tarjolla.

Staying here was a delight from the views, facilities, complimentary snacks cake yogurts and drinks, daily fresh-baked focaccia that was the best I had during my Puglia/Matera trip, to the room/house keeping in between the two days I stayed, which I did not expect but very much appreciated. I enjoyed staying in this (Sassi) part of Matera close to hiking, food, and the newer/film area of Matera. Rossana is a wonderful host, very kind, and very responsive on WhatsApp - she provided all the information I needed for my stay upfront before I arrived. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Tips: - Free parallel parking on the street is easy enough to find if you don’t mind walking 7-10min, assuming you aren’t able to find even closer parking. Just circle the streets further away. Streets like Via Fratelli Roselli or Via Nicola Sole. Though they are options, I don’t think it’s worth paying 15-25 euros a night for car park. - I only saw one and the same mosquito on the glass door during my stay, and found a few bites on my legs the first day I arrived. There are mosquitos in Matera (I visited in early September), so I recommend you turn off all the lights before leaving the room, and be quick in opening/closing the door. Keeping the outer wooden door open for a short time when the hot sun is shining helps to discourage any mosquito that otherwise may like to perch on the glass window of your door.

Above and beyond our expectations. The location, the room, the service and the lovely local treats that the host provided were exceptional. I will stay there when I return to Matera. Our host cleaned our room daily and also drove us to our car park. Simply the best!!

Nuit typique dans un logement idéalement situé avec une vue extraordinaire ! Rossana est très attentive et prepare plein de petites attentions pour ses hôtes. Bonne literie , petit logement bien équipé et cosy. Je recommande vivement.
