Stone Rooms

The photos matched the room, which is small but absolutely charming! The bathroom is a good size. Everything was very clean. Location is excellent, very close to the historic cave houses. It's well worth visiting the small underground museum right next door to the Stone Rooms with underground cistern and excellent information. Overall, we had an excellent stay.

Don't trust Google maps! Not the fault of the owner, but directions on Google are confusing. Nothing for Stone Rooms to improve.

Interesting experience of staying at the place in stone. Clean modernized place. Almost in the heart of the tourist area in Matera.

"Free parking" - not funny joke or i would name it as a "lie". Practically it's not available for this place. Knowing the price of the stay, at least parking question should be handled properly. Smell and humidity of the old stone and thus constantly running ventilation fan - don't know how someone can sleep properly. Window at the top always is lit with lights - night or day, doesn't matter. can't make it not transparent in any way.

Много ни допадна идеята за нощуване в пещера. Локацията е страхотна. Температурата беше добра. Имаше кафемашина.

Леглата не бяха много удобни и считам, че един влагоабсорбатор би бил полезен. За една нощувка е чудесно, но за повече влагата започва да натежава.
