Sunny Bungalow

Close to the pier, direcly at the bech, huge terrace with great view.

Standard in this price level compared to other locations in Cambodia. But the whole island seems to be expensive.

Beautiful location with really lovely staff. They organised a taxi boat to drop us at the pier when we were leaving as it was at the other end of the beach. Next door has a really good restaurant with lots of nice food. Drinks at the bar are a good price too, and the beach is literally 5 minutes from your door. We loved our time and wish we could have stayed longer.

Our Sunny Bungalow was exactly as we had hoped: a simple wooden hut, with a relaxing veranda, hidden among lush vegetation. We certainly weren't expecting luxury and that's probably why we found our bungalow surprisingly comfortable. Bedroom was very spacious and clean, having al the essential basics we needed for our budget beach holiday. Yes, all what’s written in other reviews about the room’s not completely closed is true, but that's what characterizes (and what we like so much about) this type of accommodation. Just don’t keep food in your bungalow and you’ll have absolutely no problem with the local wildlife. Bathroom was huge and very clean as well. Ánd made of stone, so more privacy (noise) and no walk-in/fly-in insects. It was very windy on Saracen Beach when we were there, but since the bungalows were in the backyard of the beachside café we were able to enjoy our veranda without wind. That was really nice. Service was super friendly and attentive. Dimang and his staff were always available for information and help. We were 100% happy that we chose to stay at Sunny Bungalows and would definitely book this place again on a future visit.

Location was fantastic staff were all lovely and very welcoming and so helpful, they were setting up the bar and food as we were leaving and what I saw it looked so good.

Affordable, simple island style.

The staff was pleasant but did not really help solving problems with the ferries as the winds were strong. In other lodgins guests got help and tips. Also we were told that a tractor would pick us up for the morning ferry after asking (this was not offered automatically). They forgot. The morning got very hectic after that.

I stayed at Sunny Bungalows for a week in a rustic bungalow and loved it. The bed was comfortable, the mosquito net did it's job perfectly and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The garden bungalow was perfect, peaceful and also surprisingly quiet! The walk to the sea was 1min and there were loungers there to sit on overlooking the sea. There is a path to Sunset Beach right behind the bungalows and I loved that it was far enough away from all the hostels/restaurants in the middle of the bay, but also only a short walk to reach them. The info they provide in each bungalow on the whole island and restaurants etc is very helpful. As is the owner! He was super friendly and could assist with many things. I had already bought my ferry ticket to the island before booking the bungalows so didn't realise that Island Speed Ferry is the only one that doesn't stop at Eden Pier - next door to these bungalows :( I was delighted to avoid a 30min beach walk with my bags as Sunnys sent the little speed boat to collect me from Paradise Pier! They also took me back there when I was leaving. I highly recommend staying here. It is great value for money.

Cozy bungalow with a comfortable bed, mosquito net and a clean bathroom. I loved waking up, chilling in the terrace with a cup of coffee and then going to the beach. They also give you water in your bungalow terrace to drink whenever you want.

The WiFi sometimes didn't work well.

Good location just by the ferry terminal but general repair and maintenance leave a lot to be desired. A very average rather tatty place. I stayed one night and moved on
