Sunny Bungalow

I can’t recommend this place enough! They welcomed us with a big smile and helped us in any way they could throughout our stay. The bungalows really cute and perfect to relax. The food is great too. Thanks a lot for everything!

Really lovely staff, they were amazing and they helped organise a fruit tower cake for my boyfriend’s birthday! Really chilled out place, next to Eden pier so easy to get to. We bought the sea view room and had an amazing few, the room is above the bar so it can get a little noisy at times but we really enjoyed our stay. It was nice to have a foot tap outside the room to prevent sand everywhere in the room! An added bonus is that they have a very cute puppy staying around the area :)

The room got a little hot during the night as it is a fan only room but we knew this when we booked it so wasn’t an issue

Location a few meters from the pier but you are on the quieter side of the beach. Not a lot going on.

On first glance the bungalow was okay but this all changed when we returned from dinner to find a huge cockroach in our room. Due to the large gaps in between the wooden floor boards the cockroaches have free roam to come and go as they please. We also had multiple geckos crawling about and were badly bitten by mosquitoes on the first night due to holes in the mosquitoes net. After the first night I was not prepared to sleep another night in that cockroach infested bungalow so we asked if we could move into a different room which was fully inclosed. After arguing with the employees after they wanted to charge us more money they agreed to move us for one night but informed us that it had been booked for the following night. This was a lie as after check out they offered us another night stay as we had requested a refund. We checked out the following day and requested a refund for the one night stay which was refused due to this being a tropical island and multiple cockroaches were ‘normal’. Well the new accommodation we booked definitely didn’t have any cockroaches or insects crawling around👍🏻. I must also mention that we accidentally left a laptop behind in the room and did not realise until the evening. They did not inform us it had been found even though they had our contact details. My assumption is that they hoped we wouldn’t have realised until we left the island… Overall a terrible experience that ruined our first few nights on the island. Do not stay here!

Big room overlooking the sea. Huge terrace with sunbeds and chairs. Great views. Very close to ferry pier.

Nasty nylon sheets. Smelly bathroom. Needs updating especially for the price. Some staff not especially bothered. Don’t accept garden room 5 or 6, the generator is next to them and it’s deafening!

Outside deck sitting seats were uncomfortable & the property only had 2 beach lounge chairs for guests. A fridge would be good & a more powerful fan.
