The hospitality of the owners, Youngin created restaurant-worthy meals and you could tell they put their heart and soul into the business, the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable, the stay will make you want to stay again!

Taxis do have trouble getting to the property; suggest trying to hail an Uber or taxi at the coffeeshop or convenience store. I also recommend taking a taxi if you have luggage but without bags, the road to the guesthouse is about a 5-7 minute walk uphill. This is nothing against the property, just a helpful tip.

I had a wonderful stay at The Kims. After a long day of travel it felt like coming home. They invited me to have dinner with them. They showed me lots of places in the neighnourhood I would not known about otherwise. We had great talks and shared korean music. Short distance to the trails. Bus to the city. The breakfast was delicious and everyday variation. The bed wad.comfy, the place was quiet. It was.a perfect place to end my travel in South Korea. Thank you so much!!!

到着もタクシー運転手が道を間違えたため、大幅に遅れてしまいましたが優しく出迎えてくれました。旅中のオススメスポットを丁寧に教えてくださいました。韓国語と英語の勉強にもなった旅でした。朝ご飯はとても美味しかったです。特に特製キムチが格別に美味しかったです。また滞在したいです。

Skip the hotels—come stay with the Kims! It’s a lot of fun: you’ll enjoy a delicious homemade Korean breakfast and/or dinner, meet fellow travelers, and experience a local residential area close to nature, yet full of great cafés and restaurants. Ask the host about their DMZ tour—it offers much better value than standard tours.

Different homemade Korean dishes were served as breakfast each morning, and guests from around the world enjoyed pleasant conversations. The bedroom and towels were clean, and toiletries were well prepared. The house is decorated with a variety of artworks, showcasing the owners’ good taste. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, so a good night’s sleep is guaranteed 👌

Expect a 10-minute hike from the bus station to the guest house. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe, so don’t worry about getting back at night.
