The host meet us in town because you can only get to the accommodation by tuk tuk. We came late but host was waiting for us. The view from the villa is amazing. Breakfast was really generous and delicious. beware of monkeys, there are a lot of them near the house.

Really nice view from the balcony and super friendly staff. Organized all we needed and was super helpful.

Room and bathroom need a little update, floor is broken in a lot of places. In general normal Sri Lanka standard 😄

"Amazing stay in Ella with view on jungle express"

If you want to stay a little bit outside of Ella and close to the Nine Arches Bridge (~5min) you should go to Nine Arch Jungle Inn. Even the little Adams Peak can be reached by foot (~45 Minutes). You will get served an excellent breakfast on the balkony with an amazing view of the Nine Arch Bridge. Also the host Gavi is very nice. He picked us up at the train station and took us to Ella for free at the end of our stay.

The shower does not have so much water pressure. But this is complaning at a high level. Because you are staying in the jungle there are of course a lot mosquitoes and it can be a little bit noisy during the night. Nevertheless, that was not a problem for us at all.

Gavi was amazing. He offered us lifts into town and was always responsive to messages. Even more, I left a bag and he did everything he could to get it back to me at the beach down south. So appreciative and would come back again :)

I advise closing the windows at night, lots of moths attracted to light around Ella and wear socks when it rains!

Nine Arch Jungle Inn has a fantastic room with an amazing view of the Nine Arch Bridge. The staff was amazing: Gavi helped us and was really nice. Breakfast was really good.
