Ierodoties, mūs sagaidīja pārsteigums - māja ir arī piemiņas vieta pirms dažiem gadiem aizsaulē aizgājušajam saimnieces Žannas vīram, kurš pēc profesijas bija padomju virsnieks pulkvedis, bet pēc aicinājuma - gleznotājs. Rezultātā ieguvām ne tikai naktsmītni, bet arī pievienojām mūsu ekskursijai vēl vienu apskates objektu!

Latviešu tradicionālajai gaumei vide var nepatikt, bet to var pieņemt kā citas tautas nacionālo kolorītu.

Все было отлично: и просторный номер на троих, и завтрак, и приветливая хозяйка! Бонусом была еще банька - то что нужно после долгой дороги! Этот мини-отель находится недалеко от белорусской границы, комфортное и тихое место для ночевки. На территории можно увидеть курочек, барашков, напротив есть озеро, а с другой стороны лес. Рекомндую!

A beautiful place in Latgale countryside with views towards a beautiful landscape and a lake just nearby. The children liked the animals - sheep, goats, chicken and there was a sweet little dog my daughter loved to play with. The hostess was very kind and welcoming, she even offered us a sauna for no additional cost. The accommodation is simple, but comfortable, the natural setting was a great value for us. I loved the outdoor terrace. It's great that we could cook our own breakfast, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The lake was so calm and beautiful at sunset - Latgale is very beautiful.

Lovely and colourful spot in a beautiful Latvian countryside with a feeling of a "ranch" - there are goats, chickens, cats, dogs and a lake just opposite that you can sail on with a boat. The host is very friendly and welcoming (Russian speaker, no English) and will prepare breakfast at an extra charge if you ask for it (we had delicious "blini" and fried eggs + sausages - the host asks what you want to eat). The place is full of art (paintings) and rooms are large and colourful - the place has a very unique character. Call the host directly for information about choice of rooms.

We really didn't experience anything bad, the host is very flexible and tries to help with everything. We don't speak fluent Russian or Latvian but somehow we managed to communicate very well.
