It is for sure a nice place to stay if you are a tourist looking for an experience a bit more off the beaten track. The host doesn't speak English, however she is lovely and very hospitable. Through Google Translate she was able to tell me a little more about the history of her house and the paintings her husband made. She showed me her little farm as well. And the place is pitch dark in the night, there is no light pollution, so it is absolutely perfect for stargazing when the sky is clear!

I was at the motel in the middle of the winter, it was minus 18 degrees Celcius in the night outside. The room itself was warm and comfortable, however the temperature of the bathroom and kitchen were basically the same as the temperature outside, and in those temperatures even brushing your teeth for a brief moment feels really cold. Besides that, all the water pipes were frozen, so things like washing your hands, flushing the toilet or showering were unfortunately not possible.

It was cold there was no heating, and the hot water amount was not as much as needed.
