The room was nicely furnished and quite clean. The Mali House is right in the center of Luang Prabang is the same street where the morning market takes place. Andy is a helpful host. I also appreciated the small balcony.

The room was very tiny especially the bathroom. No coffee, no kettle and no fridge in the room but they will gladly give you hot water and a cup downstairs. The duvet was too small for the size of the bed.

Beautiful villa right alongside morning Market & short walk to the river and main part of town. Host's Andy & Venus were lovely. One can sit in their cafe and watch the busy morning market. Great coffee too!

Just the doggy across the way. She'd had pups and barked her disapproval at people walking by. Being a light sleeper, it did make me grumpy!

Cute and comfortable with a great location and a very helpful host. Andy made sure we knew the tastiest places to eat, the banks with the best exchange rates, and the excursions most worth our time. He helped us arrange a motorbike with helmets, facilitated our laundry getting cleaned, and even gave us a loan when we ran out of kip. Nowhere have we received better insider advice than from Mail House.

We really can’t complain as the value for money was exceptional. In order to have privacy in the room, wooden shutters must be closed, and this will block out all natural light, but it’s cozy and dark for sleeping, and when you don’t need total privacy, the large windows and glass door are lovely and let in the sun.
