The location of the guesthouse is excellent - right amidst the morning market, yet almost magically, the room remains quiet and peaceful - not to mention very clean and super comfortable. Everything in town is conveniently within easy walking distance. The proprietors are very pleasant, helpful and readily available - either for just a breezy chat over a delicious freshly brewed cup of Lao coffee or for very useful travel tips gleaned from their fund of local knowledge. I extended my stay numerous times, the experience was so delightful!

Mali House is one of the best places I've ever stayed in. Andy is a fantastic host and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. I was feeling unwell at the start of the trip and Andy helped to make sure I was comfortable and looked after. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms are immaculate. The patio is perfect for relaxing and soaking in the atmosphere! We even extended our stay because we didn't want to leave.
