A beautiful room in a wonderful flat. The shower is separated from the bathroom The location is perfect in the middle of the day market and walking distance to all the city’s attractions. No noise at night, good internet.

Perfect location in the heart of Luang Prabang. Andy is very helpful, has a lot of recommendations and is very friendly. The Mali house offers the cleanest rooms we have seen so far in entire south east Asia. There's no complementary breakfast, but this is no problem as the food market is literally next door! Thanks for everything!

Andy was very attentive and friendly. He was on hand with recommendations, transport and scooter hire should we need it.

Smell of smoke coming into the room from the morning market from very early hours. It made my partner very ill as he has asthma and has taken a couple of days to recover. It was made way worse by having the air con unit on which we initially thought would make it better but woke up to a really intense smell in the room. We stayed in room number 6. We understand that it overlooked the morning market but maybe there needs to be work done to stop the smoke coming into the room as we tried closing the shutters and keeping the curtains closed. Not the best area either tbh, didn’t feel that safe coming back to the room after dark. Just want to be honest with my review as had we known about the issues we would have stayed elsewhere.

Great night’s sleep. The bed was very comfortable and the shutters were very effective at keeping out light and sound from the morning market. The fan was good for keeping air circulating so we didn’t need the AC. Great location with the morning market right in front — easy place to find breakfast. Also close to the night market and to the major sites of the old town. The room was made up perfectly every day. Andy, the proprietor, made people feel at home and was a great help in arranging transportation and supplying information.

A very small thing but it would have been nice to have shampoo in the shower, but I recognize that might also bump up costs a bit.

Owner and Staff Super friendly, they will help to arrange the activities and provide local information as well.

The guest house was close to the Mekong, night markets and morning markets.

For me, as an older person, Mali House was a little too close to the Morning Markets which began set up very early in the mornings.
