The Nest

We stayed here for three nights. The stay here was excellent and wonderful. Nice room with all the amenities, terrace with a wonderful garden around. The hosts are a nice and loving family. During my stay, it was my birthday. The hosts prepared a wonderful birthday surprise for me. I recommend everyone to stay here. The nicest place to stay during the trip

Location is very good. Easy access due to facing a main road and its just 4km to Mahiyangana Temple. Owners are very friendly and very helpful and happy with their hospitality. Calm, quiet and greeny environment at the guest house. Also I think its value for the money.

Its good if bathroom fittings were bit more good quality.

Run by a delightful family who made us very welcome. The food was exceptional - home cooking at its best. We also enjoyed their company. They recommended a visit to the local lake which was very enjoyable at sunset.

Basic but perfectly adequate for a short stay.

An old- fashioned guesthouse, simple and quiet, the hosts too are polite and helpful in an older style. Far enough back from the road to cushion traffic noise. Relaxing to sit on the terrasse in front of your bungalow with a cup of tea.

Prachtige locatie met erg vriendelijke gastheren en gastvrouw. Plek om tot rust te komen. Mooie tuin en we hebben er heerlijk gegeten.

Ein Highlight unserer Sri Lanka Reise. Wir wurden bestens betreut und haben sehr viel über Sri Lanka von den ehemaligen Reiseleitern, die diese Unterkunft betreiben, erfahren. Ob Ausflugstipps zum nahegelegenen See oder Informationen zu Flora und Fauna - alles tipptopp. Die Garten ist schön und man kann auf der Veranda vor dem eigenen Zimmer sitzen. Die Dusche war heiß und hatte hervorragenden Wasserdruck und das Essen war lecker.

Die Zimmer waren etwas muffig, man musste gut lüften.
