What a beautiful view! The property looks great and the big balcony with the room had the best view. Make sure you book the room with the balcony :). But what was best for us was the couple running the place. They made us feel we were staying with family and they were so nice to our daughter. The chef made great dinners. If you go to Maskeliya, this is the best place.

This is not something the accommodation can change, but it rained a lot and because you are in the mountains, it made everything a bit damp.

Fantastic location with a million dollar view of the reservoir and Adam’s Peak beyond. Very attentive service by the staff — a husband and wife team (Ishara and Yugantha). Bought and cooked for us twice the freshest fish from the reservoir. The couple were always so obliging and ready to help. The best service received ever in all the places we have stayed in this Sri Lankan trip.

A few flying insects tended to appear in the shower area every day, but they didn’t bite and didn’t bother us.

We had an excellent view of the lake through our room window. The staff is very friendly, supportive and efficient.

The couple working there was wonderful and very helpful. Nice view outside the hotel. Good value. Food (we had the Lankan stuff) was excellent.

the location is the best in the area: the most terrific view to the lake and Adam’s Peak. The room is comfortable and neat. The host is amazing - he does the best to make guests comfortable.

Overall facilities: they have big space but it is quite empty - no flowers, not much interior things making this place cosy. With this space it could be real paradise with a lady’s hand.
