The rooms were very spacious and clean with a large balcony. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent. Ajit and Priya went out of there way to makes us feel welcome and cooked us a beautiful curry and rice dinner at very late notice. They were also full of information and which we found very helpful. Excellent wifi.

The cleanliness and the outdoor view

The host family at AGP Home is truly incredible! We have never experienced such friendly, attentive, and kind hosts before. They provided us with countless tips about Nuwara Eliya, and on the day of our departure, the host even helped us at the train station to secure the correct tickets and seats—what amazing service! The accommodation is located a bit outside of town, but the bus only costs 60 rupees per person, and a tuk-tuk is also inexpensive. The deluxe double room was slightly smaller than expected and felt a bit old-fashioned, but it was absolutely sufficient. The breakfast was very plentiful and delicious. The water in the shower could have been a bit warmer, but all in all, it was a very enjoyable stay—many thanks again!

Exceptional hospitality! The hosts went above and beyond, even preparing a late-night meal for us when we arrived. Their guided tour and engaging storytelling made our stay unforgettable. They truly made us fall in love with Nuwara Eliya. We are so grateful for this meeting.
