The owner was nice and helpful.

The room is very noisy, you have a feeling like you sleep right on the railways and train comes around your head. There were also a lot of ants on a doorstep.

Perfect 10/10 ❤️ Very clean and nice place 👍 Loved the location. First we booked one night & stayed 5 in the end 👍 very kind host. Can only recommend to all travellers

The surrounding area is calm and natural. Unlike the owners their daughter spoke english well, so that language barriers could be managed. Fair price.

A simple accomodation but since the prices are low, the equipment and comfort are adequate.

Room was really spacious with a nice outside garden. Clothes line available to dry clothing/towels in the sun. Mosquito net above bed. Decent location just a short walk to the beach and shops.

No airconditioning, just one fan. And oh my was this a filthy fan. Luckily my partner is very handy and we travel with a multitool, so was able to take it apart to clean and put it back together again, otherwise it would have just been blowing filth on us. But still didn’t work that well and left us so hot and uncomfortable in the humidity. Also an ants nest in one of the statues outside our bedroom. Kitchen area was disgusting but I think they might have been renovating it on our last day.

The owners are really nice people, friendly. Room that we got was clean and it had an independent entry with a table and chairs outside to enjoy the garden. The also let us stay longer before we took our train to Colombo

There was a confusion in the room we got because the one I got in booking was the one with independent entry but, at the end, we had to pay extra for that room. Also, we asked to heat water and, even though at the beginning they did not like the idea, they offered to do it later (the door was close later so we could not have our hot chocolate).

Everything was great! The location, the house, and the family really kind!
