Clean place, quiet location, beautiful rooms

If you are coming by car the road leading to the hotel is quite narrow and hilly . Not impossible but difficult . Poor wifi:(

Un peu en retrait de l’animation mais à proximité terrasse avec une superbe vue , jolie chambre confortable avec moustiquaire , réfrigérateur, the , café . Petit déjeuner copieux , hôtes très sympathiques , aux petits soins , un peu comme une deuxième maison . Ils vous déposent à la gare ou au centre si c’est sur leur chemin et peuvent vous organiser des visites dans le coin. le chemin grimpe fortement mais ça donne une plus jolie vue 😉 La rue descend au chemin pour le Nine Arch Bridge

Attention , la nuit , la rue n’est pas très éclairée prévoyez lampe de votre téléphone ou lampe torche 🔦

We loved staying here, Ella was great, but quite busy, so this place was a little piece of heaven; relaxing, peaceful, great views from the bed/balcony. The hosts were so lovely (their daughter a little star), breakfast was delicious (western and Sri Lankan), we also had dinner 1 night at the accommodation and it was delicious (it was our last night or we would probably have had it another night). It was a climb up the hill, and then up the stairs to the accommodation. It wasn't an issue for us, we walked down into Ella and then got a Tuk Tuk home up the hill. We were able to walk to the 9 Arches and to Little Adams Peak from the accommodation. (Kettle in room and mosquito nets over bed - both really handy.)

The only thing that could have been improved was if there was a fridge in the room. This is being really picky, we loved it!

I had the pleasure of staying here during my visit to Ella, and from the very moment I arrived I felt completely at home. The warm greeting from the hosts, along with the kind and friendly garden/maintenance gentleman, set the tone for a wonderful stay. We ended up chatting well into the evening, which made me feel more like a welcomed guest than just a visitor. The room itself was beautifully decorated, spotless, and filled with a lovely aroma. Waking up to the breathtaking view across the valley and out to the distant hills was unforgettable, truly a highlight of my time in Ella. I also enjoyed an evening meal during my stay, and I can confidently say it was the best home cooked meal I’ve had so far in Sri Lanka. The flavors, freshness, and care that went into the cooking were simply outstanding. There’s a very strong chance I’ll return to Ella in the future, and if I do, this will absolutely be the only place I stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, warmth, and genuine hospitality

La camera era spaziosa e molto pulita. Posizione vicina al centro ma fuori dal caos della strada. Il personale è stato super accogliente e gentile e la colazione davvero ottima.

Unica nota negativa: per raggiungere la struttura è necessario fare una strada in salita ripida (circa 200 mt) che i tuk tuk non riescono a fare + le scale per raggiungere la camera. Non adatto a persone anziane o con difficoltà motorie.
