Ella Hillsite View

La posizione è fantastica, lontano dal caos del centro. La salita per arrivare è molto ripida e persone con problemi di mobilità non riuscirebbero a raggiungere l'albergo, ma lo sforzo è ripagato dalla splendida vista. La famiglia che ci ha ospitato è stata molto accogliente, ci hanno preparato delle colazioni ottime ogni giorno e si sono offerti di accompagnarci dove volevamo. La stanza era molto spaziosa e dotata di tutto il necessario.

Prachtig uitzicht. Laatste stukje naar het verblijf met onze eigen tuktuk wel erg spannend, maar wel gelukt. Je kunt ook de aardige eigenaar vragen je tuktuk omhoog en omlaag te rijden. Fantastisch Sri Lankaas ontbijt, zowel curry als zoet, waarbij wij de zoete kokos-suiker pannenkoekjes echt de lekkerste van heel Sri Lanka vonden. Ze hebben een hele lieve 9 jarige dochter, lief en leuk gezin. Grote aanrader!

Super mooie locatie, mooi uitzicht. Hele aardige man die erg lekker ontbijt maakt. Fijne kamer.

Stijle heuvel omhoog waar niet alle tuktuks/drivers naar boven gaan.

Personalen var otroligt trevlig och hjälpsamma. Det var ett väldigt lugnt område. Otroligt god och generös frukost. Vi var väldigt oroliga över att det skulle bli för varmt utan aircon men det behövdes inte då det var ca 20 grader om natten i april.

Det var jobbig backe att gå upp för när man kom från centrala Ella. Det var ganska enkel standard och kanske inte de bästa duscharna. Fläkten i rummet var väldigt högljudd. Vi valde detta boende pga utsikten från balkongen som vi såg på bilder. Men träd har vuxit och täcker största delen av utsikten. Vi fick dock gå upp på taket där det var fantastiskt utsikt.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely little local hotel in Ella. The mountain views from the property are absolutely breathtaking. It’s the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty and peaceful of nature. What really made our stay special was the kindness of the people who run the hotel. They were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond for us. When we had a problem with our tuk-tuk in town, they came all the way to help us out!! Highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet and scenic place to stay in Ella.

The property is lovely and a short walk to town. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are helpful. Hema who works there is friendly, speaks excellent English and cooked me a delicious breakfast. Hope to visit again!

Spacious room with a comfortable bed. Also recently refurbished and the bathroom was new as well. Good powerful fan for the hot weather! Nice balcony with a table to chill on outside. Staff were incredible - Chamith and his brother were so helpful with any and every request, they carried our bags up the hill and even drove us to our next destination Gqlle when we needed to leave! Can’t recommend this guesthouse enough, breakfast was also yummy and fresh everyday. Also great location near to Ella town - walking distance but a very steep hill up to the hotel so we got a tuktuk most days but it’s cheap so all ok

The steep hill was tough to walk up but fine if you don’t have mobility issues / happy to get a tuktuk. Chamith is also happy to give lifts if needed. Due to the location there were some bugs/mosquitos - as expected in the jungle areas though, and the bed has a fab mosquito net around it so all fine to sleep
