Ella Hillsite View

Grote kamer en badkamer. Goede douche. Groot balkon. Lekker ontbijt, we verbleven er drie nachten en kregen elke ochtend een ander traditioneel ontbijt. Gastheer was behulpzaam. Hotel ligt aan een steile weg. Wij reden zelf met onze tuktuk en de eigenaar bracht zelf onze tuktuk naar boven en beneden gezien de uitdagende helling. Tien minuutjes wandelen van het centrum, dus heel wat goede restaurants en winkels in de buurt.

Die Unterkunft bietet einen super Ausblick auf das Panorama von Ella. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend und gibt sich die größte Mühe, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen.

We stayed at Hillsite View for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and each morning we enjoyed a lovingly prepared breakfast that really made us feel at home. The location is peaceful and quiet, yet still just a 10-minute walk from Ella’s town center, with easy access to restaurants, bars, and shops. Our host was incredibly helpful and friendly. He arranged very affordable transport to our next destination and even offered to help organize activities like a traditional Sri Lankan cooking class. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay and would definitely recommend Hillsite View to anyone visiting Ella!

I had such a great experience at Ella Hillsite View! The room was spacious with an amazing view, and the breakfast was incredible—different every day. Chamith is incredibly kind and helpful—whatever you need, he fixes it instantly! He arranged pick-up from the train station and even drove me all the way from Ella to Hikkaduwa without any problems. I truly recommend Ella Hillsite View! 🌞🌞

The staff were very nice and helped with our bags from the road to the room. Without this we would have struggled. It was lashing with rain when we arrived and there was a a steep hill and steps. They offered a lift to town to pick up a take away which saved the day. The breakfast was super. A 15 min walk to town but away from the noise. Clean room with mosquito nets and spacious terrace.

Comfortable, spacious room with a lovely private balcony. The host is lovely and really accommodating, helping to organise taxis and suggest day trips. Great view of the mountains! The hill to access the property is incredibly steep (common in Sri Lanka) but Tuk Tuk can access it and once down the hill it’s in a good location.

We had a double room with a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Chathumal and wife was very friendly and helpful. Location was good not too far from the town centre. We enjoyed the Sri Lankan breakfast provided. It was very good.
