Careful! If you want to enjoy real Ella, or life, skip this place. In pictures looks nice, reviews won’t tell you much about the location. To get to the hotel (only possible way!!!!!!) they pick you up with a safari jeep, for a 20-30 minutes drive on a road that is not suitable for driving. All rocky, on the edge of a mount, scariest drive I ever had! “Two way road” but actually have space for one. The drive made me sick with nausea! To think I should have done this drive at least twice a day was horrifying! Next pleasure - it is in the middle of actual jungle with no suitable care! After being there for 5 minutes I got bitten by so many huge ants, that I was itching for days later with marks! Not the cute ants you may be familiar with, huge! Painful and violent ants! In room and pool area! Staff is super grate but it is not enough! I wanted to celebrate my honeymoon there but going there just ruined my whole day! Getting to the room is by multiple stairs in the middle of jungle, snakes could possibly bit you!!! It is not recommended to go out of room at night… This is not a vacation.

Les chambres sont extrêmement sales ainsi que les draps, le tapis, les vitres, etc… Il n y a pas de facilités (shampooing, café) suffisantes. Sur les photos ils prétendent que c’est un appartement or que c’est une chambre médiocre et la piscine a partager. La piscine était absolument affreuse, l’eau n’à pas été filtré depuis x temps. Elle était verte, on ne sait même pas voire le sol. Pour arriver sur place, il est impossible. Il faut d’office prendre le transport de l’hôtel qui est 2x plus cher.

L’équipe de Vila Verde est juste exceptionnelle : serviable, arrangeant, aux petits soin et j’en passe. Nous avions la villa piscine pour nous (seulement 2 chambres) avec un service plus que de qualité : livraison de rafraîchissements et nourritures. Le manager nous a emmené tous les jours, gratuitement, à la route principale et a même loué / ramené notre scooter pour nous. Nous avons rien géré, et ce, pour un prix accessible ! L’équipe souriante nous a fait découvrir des plats typiques très bons, et très accessible, ce qui clairement nous incitait à rester manger à l’hôtel ! Stumbling upon this hotel was a happy accident! Despite the rough road, it felt like arriving in paradise. The views of Little Adam Peak, Ella Rock, and the waterfalls were breathtaking. The manager and his team were incredibly friendly and disciplined, making our stay unforgettable. We can't wait to come back!

Prachtige locatie maar dringend aan renovatie toe wat zo jammer is. Ik hoop dat ze dit wat gaan opfrissen zoals een likje verf en die tapijt in de kamer er gewoon uit. Hier kan je echt een paradijs van maken wat momenteel niet is. Het restaurant mag ook wat gezelliger gemaakt worden. Echt jammer

Je kan er niet weg door de weg ernaar toe. Moest de keuken goed zijn zou het niet zo erg zijn. Echt jammer. Geen koud pintje, en rauwe kip. Al goed dat het personeel super vriendelijk was.

La struttura si trova in una posizione con una vista fantastica, l’ambiente è davvero magico! La camera della villa è carina ma un po’ datata. Lo staff è cordiale e disponibile e il cibo è ottimo!

Villa Verde is a absolut recommendation. Forget all the hotels close to the city, you have to book this one. We had the pleasure that Eranda from Villa Verde picked us in Kandy and drove us to the hotel. During our stay, Eranda showed us the most beautiful places, like waterfalls, 9 arch bridge etc. Also the mix between citylife and the full silence around the Hotel with its beautifull view is nothing you can enjoy on many places. If you search for a beautiful hotel with the most helpfull staff you should book a stay there. Many thanks to Eranda and his team members, appreciated the phenomenal service!

Sehr sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Der Manager war sehr hilfsbereit und auch der Kontakt über booking war reibungslos. Die Jungs aus der Küche machen einen super Job. Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut und auf individuelle Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Auch das Dinner war sehr lecker. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Wäscheservice. Von unserem Balkon hatten wir einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf die Berge und den Ravana Wasserfall. In der Hotel Anlage findet man überall bunte, exotische Tiere. Man hat durch den eigenen Bereich in dem Gebäude wirklich Ruhe.

Leider liegt das Hotel sehr schwer erreichbar in den Bergen. Erstmal nicht schlecht, weil Ruhe garantiert ist und ein super Ausblick vorhanden ist. Allerdings ist die Straße zum Hotel ein absolutes Abenteuer und das Hotel schickt einen Fahrer um die Leute zu holen. Selbst wären wir die Straße wohl auch nicht gefahren, sie soll aber wohl bald erneuert werden. Die Anlage ist insgesamt sehr abgenutzt und besonders das Bad war wirklich nicht angenehm. Dazu kommt ein relativ hoher Preis für das was geboten wird, daher leider nur eine durchschnittliche Bewertung. Hat aber Potential und für die Durchreise sicherlich kein no go.
