Villa Verde Ella

Everything was perfect

the apartment is 30 minutes away from the city center, but Saman (the housekeeper) pick us up and drove uns around. Compared to mutch more expensive locations the view from the mountains is perfect! It’s possible to get breakfast, lunch and dinner and ist was ver delicious. everyone was very courteous and helpful, I would recommend it to everyone!! thank you for everything and for having us!

The wiev is outstanding, so peaceful location. You can see the waterfalls and ella rock from the restaurant. We stayed for 3 nights and had a really good time. They make really delicious food and one evening they made sri lankan specialties for us and that was the best dinner we had in sri lanka. Its little bit tricky to get to the place as the last part of the road are quite bad, but the owner drove us to the mainroad or to ella anytime we wanted so it was no problem at all!

There were no sun beds or relaxing seats at the pool, i missed that. And it would have been nice with tea etc provided. There was a waterboiler but no cups or tea.

Het uitzicht

Over de bouw van de chalet was nagedacht maar de afwerking was overal erg slecht en niet handig. Het zwembad had een mooi uitzicht maar was ook niet echt uitnodigend om in te zwemmen. Denk eraan de accommodatie is niet in Ella zelf. Dat was ons niet duidelijk. De weg ernaar toe met een privé auto was echt een uitdaging en niet echt aan te bevelen. Gelukkig is de manager heel bereidt om je met de jeep naar en van Ella te rijden. Dankjewel hiervoor.

Quiet and remote location 30 min drive from Elle. Amazing views from the balcony and poolside. Great and very friendly staff. The private “Safari” on a 4 wheel drive Jeep through the tea plantations (journey to and from the hotel) is a nice addition.

Wifi in the room was not working. but also we did not mention it to the staff.

Amazing location. Far from all the hustle of the town. You get too see Rawana Falls, Little Adam's peak from your Balcony. Very good view.
