Snuggle Cottage

This place is absolutely wonderful. Feels nicely off the beaten track, yet still just a 10minute walk to the town centre. The setting is amazing in the forest. Walking through banana palms to get there. You can walk to the famous bridge from there, and plenty of restaurants on the walk in to town. The family who run it are the perfect hosts, even the cat and dog. Warm and friendly, without being in your face. The breakfast was brilliant, one of the best we had in Sri Lanka! The room is immaculate, and really nicely decorated. Lovely terrace outside with a view of the waterfall. WIFI is surprisingly very good!

Nothing to fault! Perfect stay!

Absolutely amazing stay - we had two nights at this place and we regreted leaving. HAving the epic breakfast with the view on the distant waterfall and Ella Rock above during sunrise was quite uniqe and breathtaking. the owner is super nice and cooks delicious traditional Srilankan breakfast. We were also greeted with fresh cocoa fruit which was totally amazing and our kids loved it

Lovely owner! Yashoda was super helpful, the room was clean and comfy with a great waterfall view. Breakfast was abundant and delicious! She also cooked for us the night we arrived even though it was quite late, everything was yummy. It was awesome to count on kind hearted people like Yashoda and her friend Anande while being so far away from home. Totally recommend!!

Breakfast is fine and dinner is really good and very tasty.

In wet or moist weather (we had rainy days) the room is less comfy as no air passes through. We suggested the hosts to install a air filter in the room to avoid humidity inside.

Great location, close to the path to the Elle rock, nice garden, astonishing view, super breakfast but the best of all is the kind lady running the place. Always smiling and always helpful.

It was an amazing stay, probably the best in Sri Lanka. The hosts were incredibly helpful and kind (they even dropped me to the bus station which was very considerate of them), the room was very nice - spacious and clean. And the breakfasts - also the best I had in Sri Lanka :)!

Lovely place with the sweetest hosts, We hat a great time! Breakfast was very tasty (and a lot), the room was really clean and the balcony is a great place to chill. ~15 Minute walk to the city center. Thank you very much! We recommend!:)
