Very kind host, tasty food and nice location

Fish which was outside of our room didn’t have enough water and they had to swim sideways to get covered with water, very sad :(

The cabanas are separated from the restaurant and the road which make the place so quiet and surrounded by nature you can wake up with the sound of birds. The beds were comfortable, clean and tidy. Nothing fancy but cosy and cheap considering being located near one of the most beautiful beaches in the south.

The family running this accommodation was very helpful and nice, we had nice conversations and they even welcomed us with a juice! The location is great, just in front of the Silent Beach and the food they cook is really good! I recommend taking Sri Lankan breakfast :).

The host is super friendly. They partner with a nearby restaurant and can even provide a meal right on the beach under a small canopy. The beach was nice and quiet. The affordable price reflects the not so positive side of the property.

Not located where its position is marked on the Booking.com site or google maps. The nearby 5* hotel commands over the beachfront up to 2 or 3 rows. The accommodation is actually located behind the hotel complex some 300 meters from the beach and approximately 30 meters above (!) sea level. See attached snip - blue dot near the top is where the property is located).

nothing, only the weather (it was raining)

This place is a hidden gem, located close to a wonderful beach. The hosts dont speak much English but are very kind and would even serve our lunch at the beach. The rooms are simple but clean. The shower even had hot water and good water pressure. The bed was comfy. Our room had aircon, which was perfect as the weather got really hot during our stay. We loved the breakfast and the fresh juices. The fish we had for dinner was amazing, too.

Maybe a bit pricier than similar places in Sri Lanka, but absolutely worth the price.

Nice cottage, close to nice Silent beach.

May be feeling lonely there in late April.
