The Castaway retreat

The people were lovely , i was met from the beach on arriving from boat . it was very clean and a short walk to bikini beach and the 3 restaurants . Also a plug in anti mosquito .

When I went back for a nap in the afternoon it was very noisy . Sounded like a wood factory behind . It seems not many places offer fresh juice at breakfast which would be nice but I understand these are not resort islands so not everything is available .

Clean and cosy place for stay. Good value for the money. Nice staff. The food is simple, there is a selection for breakfast, but not for dinner - although I had no problem with that. Feridhoo is amazing island if you like to snorkel go to the publich beach - much more fishes there.

the noise of the water heater - you need ear plug if you sensitive for noises like me some worm in the bathroom, sometimes in the room too

We loved the location, it was not far from the beach. The staff were exceptionally helpful and really catered to us. We arranged snorkeling and fishing trips through them. Despite the weather allowing us a small window to enjoy, it was organized well.

Everything. The owner is a fantastic person: he helped us and made us feel at home, a really kind and good person. The meals were excellent and plentiful, they always tried to please us, especially my six year old son by buying chocolate cereals for him. The owner organized excursions and transfers from the airport to the island and back for us. He changed our money into local currency doing us a favor. When they canceled our return flight and we had to extend our stay by one night, he allowed us to stay an extra night without any problem. The room was clean and welcoming, it was cleaned and tidied up every day. The Maldivian bath was just amazing. We loved every aspect of our stay and will definitely return if we have the chance in the future. Thank you for the fantastic holiday, a real dream!!

Lovely place to stay on the island. Feridhoo island is very beautiful place, nature, a beach, and everything. The guesthouse is clean, amazing atmosphere, nice place to sit outside the room. Open bathroom with view to the sky/moon/palms.. Unique experience. Ali is extremely welcoming, helping with all requests instantly, breakfast/dinner are delicious - homemade with love food. Excursions - dolphins and visiting a nearby uninhabited island - were amazing! Grateful for my amazing stay at Castaway

Ali, the owner, was so helpful and got us sorted not just for transfers to and from the island, but also with the most amazing snorkeling trip. The property was gorgeous, some really lovely touches. Very clean and well run. they even made dinner for us a couple of nights. Loved it!

The manager and his wife are serving all needs from the first moment of booking to the final goodbye. During my stay 22.02.-01.03. I felt very welcomed, from the very first moment on arrival till the last goodbye. They are doing everything by heart to make your stay the best holiday ever. The room was simple but had everything necessary, comfortable beds, powerful AC and ventilator, and stunning outdoor shower, everything got properly cleaned every day. An outdoor shower means also sharing the extraordinary experience a little with the nature, but incense sticks will save you from unwanted intruders :- ) The traditional breakfast and diner were delicious and always ready the time requested. Don’t miss some breathtaking excursions, very well organised through the manager, the manta rays and evening fishing I will never forget.

Nothing. Well, the mattresses could be more comfortable with additional topper. A fridge in the room and a choice of dishes for dinner would be a nice upgrade.
