Weligama Watergate

We had a great stay at Watergate in Weligama. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready with recommendations for places to eat, nearby banks, beaches, and anything else we needed. The room felt newer, was very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, just steps from Weligama Beach and close to everything. It’s very walkable, and tuk tuks are easy to find if you want to explore a bit further. Overall, a really convenient and enjoyable place to stay. We’d definitely recommend it!

Die Liebste fürsorglichste Gastfamilie die man sich vorstellen kann. Super schönes grosses Zimmer mit grossem gemütlichen Bett. Alles top sauber und egal welchen Wunsch man hatte, die Gastgeber waren jederzeit extrem bemüht einem alles recht zu machen! Die Lage auch super nah am Strand aber angenehm weiter weg vom chaotischerem Zentrum.

Nothing at all

The owner was very unfriendly. The pictures they advertise are not the same of what you actually get. Very run down. Hardly any toilet paper. No shampoo or other basics.

Ubytovanie je velmi pekne a ciste v blizkosti plaze. Domaci bol tiez velmi prijemny a napomocny, prichystal nam kazde rano skvele ranajky.

Ked ste si chceli dat studenu sprchu tak ste museli asi 10 minut pockat kym odtecie horuca voda (trubky isli zrejme cez slnko kde sa voda velmi ohrievala). Trosku nam chybala nejaka policka, ulozny priestor kde by sme si v izbe vedeli zlozit veci. Nasa izba bola tiez bez balkona, ktory nam osobne trosku chybal.

Sehr ruhige Lage, aber innerhalb von 2 min zu Fuß am Strand und vielen Lokalen. Sehr nette Familie.

Wifi ist leider sehr langsam
