Ella Okreech Cottages

The location is excellent! Walking distance to the Main Street. Very handy. The rooms were big and we really liked the lawn in front of it!

The road is steep!

Habitación amplia y bonita, cama muy cómoda, ubicación próxima al centro, servicio de lavandería, garrafa de agua grande para poder rellenar las botellas.

El aislamiento de la habitación debe tener algún fallo ya que encontramos una rana y una lagartija dentro del baño en cada una de las noches que nos alojamos allí, al cabo de un rato con la puerta cerrada ya no estaban.

Die Lage, freundliches Personal, Sauberkeit

- l’emplacement, dans le centre d’Ella (2 min à pied de la rue des restos et bars) mais au calme. - grande chambre très confortable avec tout de qu’il faut : frigo, thé, eau ..beauté de la chambre et sens du détail (pour des chambres trois fois plus chères nous n’avons pas forcément eu ça dans d’autres hôtels du Sri Lanka) - petit déjeuner incroyable - gentillesse du personnel - et du patron notamment a été adorable avec nous et nous a emmenés en tour d’une journée, que nous avons bcp apprécié - service de nettoyage du linge pas cher et impeccable : cela nous a bien dépannés ! - le rapport qualité prix imbattable

rien. (juste notez que les photos du paysage ne sont plus à jour : à Ella les constructions poussent comme des champignons et il n’y a plus de vue dégagée … mais cela ne nous a absolument pas déranges.)

Room was very clean, washroom has a big shower, little terrace is lovely Position is absolutely central Garden is peaceful and spacious

I could find some insects like geco/spider, which is also expected as it's sorrounded by nature

Die Lage ist zentral und ruhig. Die Unterkunft sehr sauber und einfach toll! Fahrräder und Roller können bei der Unterkunft gemietet werden.

We booked two rooms so had our own separate cottage. The rooms were clean. It had its own lawn. Very much next to the Main Street but being at steep, there was no noise from outside. The staff was nice and helpful.

The room at the ground floor didn’t have a carpet. The one above was carpeted. The door locks were not very great. Water was provided in refilled glass bottles which we were not comfortable with. The steep hill to the cottage was challenging to walk.

Good location

There’s a smell of humidity on the rooms.
