Huge room, amazing balcony in a great location only 5 minutes walk from the beach! Great value for money.

Very nice and clean room in Unawatuna. It has a working fan and AC and a huge balcony. The owner is very friendly. We had some drinks and played the guitar together, which was really nice. Would definitely recommend and come back!

The location was very convenient and good hot shower. Wifi was also good.

Location was good, walking distance to everywhere I wanted to go. A/C worked well and good water pressure in the shower. Cafe downstairs. Cozy lights in the balcony. Owner was nice too :)

Room was quite small and not so cozy... A lot of traffic noise from the street.

The room was good although the owner was not happy that we were locals, he did not inform us in regards to the chrck out time and was very angry about the fact that I was about an hour late. He called us and hurled abuse at us asking us too f**k off, I returned back to the hotel as soon as he called me and he came upstairs to my room while I was packing my stuff, he grabbed me and assaulted me while throwing my stuff around the room, I politely told him please don't shout at me, I walked downstairs and tried to take a picture of the business registration and he covered it so that I cannot complain about the incident to the police. When I was outside he pushed me when I confronted him about the abuse and again he grabbed me and pushed me. I have been in the hospitality industry for more than 10 years and have never experienced this in my life. I have filed a police complaint against the owner. I urge all of you foreigners and locals to be aware staying at their property. The cleaner opened my room while my girlfriend was changing and she was naked. I will follow up and make sure action is taken against the property under the crime of assault.
