USWe found service staff to be very attentive and responsive. The house itself is beautiful and has been lovingly restored and decorated. Our communal meal was bountiful and tasty, breakfasts as well. The rooftop terrace was a nice retreat with beautiful views over the medina. A/C worked well. Bed was comfortable.
Our upstairs room was a trudge up very steep old stairs (if you have mobility issues, ask for a downstairs room). The room lacked certain modern amenities, like storage space for clothing (a few hangers), which is OK if you are only staying a night or 2 so can live out of your suitcase. The room had only 2 electric outlets and no charging ports. Lighting is dim (authentically medieval) without opening windows. Bathroom was super tiny with small sink and shower, no space for toiletries. The riad only has 7 rooms so there is no reception area per se: this means you may have to search for/ call out for service staff if none are apparent.

CALocated in a prime spot in the heart of the Medina, this beautiful guesthouse is well maintained and very clean and comfortable. The interior architecture is stunning, it has a great rooftop and the staff was very nice.
GBExtraordinarily beautiful! Dar Seffarine is a sanctuary in the chaos of Fez the staff are amazing! The food was exceptional and we would highly recommend having dinner there with a bottle of the local wine. It was the best! Staying at Dar Seffarine was one of the highlights of our stay in Morocco: it was a wonderful experience. Thank you!

SGWe loved the location of the place. We loved the hospitality of the staff who were patient and kind. We loved the attention to detail in the space. The breakfast was amaZing!. It just felt like home.

NLPrachtige accommodatie en heel mooi verzorgde kamer. Fijnste bedden van heel onze reis door Marokko. Het personeel was heel behulpzaam, dacht fijn mee en kon goed Engels. Ze waren 24 uur per dag bereikbaar. Echt een aanrader.
