Although the facilities and room were basic they provided all that you needed, especially within this price point. The host was very accommodating and full of information.

For us the beds and pillows were too hard but this may suit others

Raj was a mine of information and a pretty good cook! The rooms were comfy and air conditioning worked well. Quiet location a little out of the city centre

Bathroom could do with a little work. Functional and clean but needs a little tlc

The bathroom walls and toilet seat were covered in mould and the general cleanliness of the bathroom and bedroom were very very poor. The lacking off hygiene all over made me feel very uncomfortable during our stay. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the bedding was stained with holes in. There were bright lights on outside all the bedrooms and in the garden which flooded the bedroom with light making it hard to sleep. The 3 nights we spent there the host was up for hours late at night talking loudly, showing no concern or care to the paying guests he had trying to sleep. All in all, avoid at all costs. We have paid a lot less for a lot better in Sri Lanka!

A beautiful place, where we would definitly come again. We liked it very much.

what I liked ? RAJ - what a lovely person. I have no words. He is doing hospitality at its best. I love this place so much, sitting together, breakfast in the morning - nice guests around. I'll definitely be back : but only if RAJ will be there. Thanks a lot again.

Unfortunately, we cannot agree with the good reviews. The accommodation was not clean: the walls and floor were dirty, the whole room smelled of toilet because the bathroom door did not close properly. The whole bathroom and toilet seat were also moldy, some spots of the bed sheets were dirty, the advertised toiletries were not there (not even soap), the TV had fallen off the wall and the air conditioning was dripping on the table. The room didn’t look like the ones advertised in the pictures anymore.
