"Location, location, location. A comfortable stay in quiet, historic il Birgu."

The location is excellent; in a quiet historic area with friendly people and close to some restaurants/bars. Just a short ferry ride to the more bustling city of Valletta. The hosts were also excellent; very responsive to queries. Mark checked with us to make sure all was well, arranged a change of linen half-way through our week long stay and gave us good tips for restaurants etc. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Be ready to carry your bags up a flight or more of stairs. The kitchen has limited cooking facilities (just a microwave) but good for making salads.

Great location, in the centre of lovely Birgu town. Very friendly owners, cafes nearby, few minutes to the nearest bus stop to Valetta. Close to the port.

"The best accommodation I’ve been in a long time"

The place is awesome and the hosts are very kind and attentive. The premises are beautiful, the bed is big and comfortable, and the shower and the toilet are very nice. There’s also air conditioning, and a very maltese and charming balcony. You really feel at home and welcomed in Birgu here. It’s just behind the main square of Birgu, and less than 5 minutes away from the water taxi stop at the harbour, so it’s very convenient to get quickly to Valletta.

"Fairy-tale house in Malta old town"

Absolutely adorable house with unique interior. Neighborhood is peaceful and traditional, with beautiful houses in Malta style, and charming little shops with souvenirs and food specialties. Sea is only few minutes away, with boat rides to Valletta. Landlords were great, very thoughtful regarding all necessary information and help. Without even asking, they let us stay after check-out time, since our flight was later in the afternoon.

"Superb"

Very good location with frequent buses to la Valletta, interesting old house in the centre of the historical heart of the region, sufficient equipment of the flat and the kitchenette, perfect connection to wi-fi, very good communication with the owners.

We had everything that we needed, only missed a knife for cutting in the kitchenette.
