Everything! We had the best room with AMAZING ceiling, bed was comfortable, many pillows, nice space, good bathroom. Very warm, welcoming and helpful people. They organized nice transfers as well(15 euro from airport). Location is great (in my view), it’s in the medina but just 3 minutes from parking, on a quiet street. About 15 minutes to the main square. Breakfast is wonderful, they made different pastry/pancakes every morning. Good tea and coffee. Wifi was okay, especially in the garden downstairs, but it’s not super strong wifi.

At first, I didn’t understand why it doesn’t have windows(only the ones that overlook the inside garden), but once I got the noise level in the city, I got the idea. You don’t want outside windows. So everything was super nice, no negative! Thanks for all!!

The Riad 5 Générations is really an insider tip. Wonderfully quiet, a wonderfully sustainably renovated riad in an old building. The name of the riad comes from the fact that the house is actually run by the fifth generation, so it is still in the family and does not belong to a larger tourism company. You can feel the love for the house, the hosts are very warm and take care of all your wishes. 5 Generations is the perfect place to spend a few days in Marrakech.

clean and great location

The Riad 5 GÉNÉRATIONS was located in a great area once you got to the main street. The property & rooms were clean at all times. As advertised, breakfast was included: a traditional Moroccan breakfast including tea, fresh fruit juice, and coffee. The property owners/managers did reach out ahead The Riad was really quiet and closed off away from the main street. Because of how quiet it was inside, we were able to sleep peacefully.

This property does not accept credit card in person or via booking websites. We had to build in time to get either Euros or Dirham at a nearby ATM. If you have a lot of activities planned keep this in mind and make time. Lastly, the bathroom did have a weird smell probably because there's no window in there to fully get rid of the moisture. We kept the door closed when we were not using the bathroom.

Lovely small Riad. We had a 3 ppl room which was a little tight for 3, but made up for it by it's brightness and the fantastic bathroom! People were really friendly and all in all we had a great stay. Perfect location too.

The roof terrace was a little disappointing (as in small) We were only there for 2 nights, so it didn't matter too much for us...
