Bay Dreams Beach Hotel & Surf Camp

Iqbal and his family were so welcoming and helpful. We particularly enjoyed our conversations with Iqbal about the history of Arugum Bay. The garden around the accommodation is so lovely, we would sit out on the hammocks and watch the birds fly by. It's a short walk to an amazing restraunt named the Moon Garden and not far to main point where we surfed most mornings. Iqbal was very helpful arranging for tuk tuk rides to and from all different destinations. We hope to return some day.

Während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthaltes wurde nicht 1 mal das Zimmer sauber gemacht. Dafür haben wir auf Nachfrage sofort frische Handtücher bekommen. Abends kann es an manchen Tagen etwas laut sein, es direkt neben dem Hotel eine Bar ist in der ein mal die Woche bis spät in die Nacht gefeiert wird.

This place was so great! Iqbal and the staff were so lovely, kind and generous. We were so grateful to be there. The breakfast was so delicious and different each morning. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. So close to the beach and town we had easy access to everything. Iqbal even helped us out with a taxi service. Would love to stay here again!

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is ideal – not right in the busy center, but also not too far out. It strikes the perfect balance: peaceful and quiet, yet still very easy to get everywhere quickly. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast is consistently delicious. But what really makes this place special are the hosts. They are incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely helpful. You can feel that they care about making your stay as pleasant as possible – and they succeed in doing just that. Their hospitality made my time here truly enjoyable. I would come back anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming place to stay. Ich war zwei Wochen in diesem Hotel und habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal – nicht mitten im Trubel, aber auch nicht zu weit draußen. Man hat seine Ruhe, ist aber trotzdem schnell überall, was perfekt ist. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt, und das Frühstück ist jeden Tag sehr lecker. Was dieses Hotel aber wirklich besonders macht, sind die Gastgeber. Sie sind unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und einfach sehr liebe Menschen. Man merkt, dass sie sich wirklich Mühe geben, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen – und das gelingt ihnen auch. Durch ihre Gastfreundschaft wurde mein Aufenthalt hier zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann dieses Hotel nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Total liebenswert hier. Auch alle Touren konnte man hier super einfach und für einen guten Preis buchen. Haben noch eine Nacht verlängert weil der Ort einen tollen Vibe hat. Der Besitzer fragt oftmals, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder man etwas benötigt ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken.
