Casa Santaella

Excellent stay - beautiful rooms which were very clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. The shared kitchen and living room area was a nice surprise and meant we could cook some basic food there and they also provided free coffee in morning. Beautiful garden setting too and they had tons of cats which made our stay. It is further up from the beaches but that didn't bother us as it was so nice here!

Beautiful accommodation, quiet and clean. There is a common terrace to enjoy and a common kitchen to prepare food with a fridge and all needed utensils. The area is safe and very close to the center. The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will gladly come again!

The staff was wonderful, place felt safe, and the grounds were nice.

The street can be really loud, as the windows have slat glass and don’t protect the sound of the vehicles from coming thru. The spare bed needs to be thrown out, as it is beyond worn, and needs a new mattress. This was without a doubt the worst comfortable sleep I had in years.

Great property in the centre of puerto Escondido, green lush garden, nice outdoor setting to relax with tables and hammock and lots of super friendly cats. Even if in the centre you will need transport to go around. Air conditioning and fan in the room were great after a day in the sun. Overall super convenient and Mayella was a super host full of great advices and accomodating to the last day.

Cold shower only but that is ok in Puerto due to the heat.

This was our favourite accomodation of our Mexico trip so far. Family owned, everyone was so lovely and helpful to us. Felt like a really personal experience. The room was comfortable and in a great location for lots of local eats — we would stay again!
