"5* hosts and location in a perfect oasis of old town Puerto Escondido"

Mayela and her family could not have been more helpful and welcoming if they tried. Mayela went out of her way to be a 5* host! We had a lovely room which was huge and also the added bonus of aircon, which was definitely needed during our stay! The house was a beautiful, hidden oasis in the very centre of the old town of Puerto Escondido - perfect for hiding from other tourists and feeling as though you were living amongst the locals.

The noise at night was quite unbearable at times, and that’s saying something when we live in the very centre of London & we’re not light sleepers! The property appears to be opposite a Coca Cola depot and throughout the night there are non-stop deliveries, where the drivers leave their engines on / are constantly revving. We’d recommend bringing some earplugs!
