Golden Surfer Beach Hotel

The location is great - right on the beach and close to the town. Very helpful and kind staff. Rooms could be cleaner. Beds were comfortable.

The room was big, bed comfortable. Bathroom was okay. Nice view from the outside terrace.

The mosquito net was poorly installed so it was impossible to cover the whole bed because the net was lying on my face. The room was super hot, the fan in the room was not enough.

Perfect location, big room, comfy bed, aircon, balcony!

Smell in the room (a bit old and moldy), staff took a very long time for bringing the laundry back - first it didn’t dry because of the rains (fair) but then they were to busy with their restaurant. Anyways, they got them when I insisted, so no big trouble.

I loved everything, the owner family are stars, they make everything possible to make you feel like home. It was just amazing, when you crossed the street you are right at the beach. What can I say, just perfect. This is the place to stay in Tangalle :-)

I had a room on the top floor and loved it! It's pretty big and the balcony and the view are marvellous. Waking up with a sunrise and an ocean view.. Has been my favourite place in Sri Lanka! Very friendly staff as well.
