best for quick overnight backpackers.

completely disengaged, uninterested, unhelpful "staff". side note: i was sick with food poisoning (not la selva's fault) and unable to get out of bed for 2 days and they were so involved in watching videos on their phones they never noticed they had a very ill guest. they never cleaned the bathrooms for almost a week. was given a hard time when i asked for a towel. i could go on but i will leave it there...

the lack of privacy

Good location, close to the beach but far away not to be listening to all the music and people around which is very nice. The breakfast is good. The bed was confortable and the water from the shower comes hot and cold which is good too.

The hrs to use the kitchen are very reduced so that makes it almost impossible to use. The private rooms are nice and comfortable, but the space is still not sound proof at all, so you still get to live the hostel experience when people get in or talk in the hallway.

The space was cozy, the staff was really friendly and helpful, helping when I decided to extend my stay last minute. The location was great, I loved walking the main stretch every morning. I felt secure at night.

The breakfast was really limited, just fruit when I was there, which meant I bought breakfast everyday. That may not always be the case. That wasn't too big a deal however, cuz there are lots of great options nearby (I liked the food truck in the park and the little covered patio up the road towards the beach, which may doesnt have a name but has a checker patio and serves huitlacoche). The private shower was cold, which was definitely not the coziest but I managed cuz it was warm out.

It was a pigstie. I wouldn't want anyone to stay there. It wasn't safe.

The dogs are so cute and the owner of the Hostel makes great breakfast

The cubicles do not have walls to the ceilings so you can basically hear everything. Also, the bathrooms are so small it’s crazy you can’t even turn around in there. Your feet are outside of the door and they need to be cleaned every day and they rarely are.
