Direkt am Meer, geschützt von einer Sanddüne, konnte ich eine naturnahe Unterkunft mit Kochnische und Kühlschrank bekommen. Eine leichte Brise sorgt für Kühlung. Ganz besonders angenehm ist die herzliche Aufnahme durch den Manager, der sich auch weiterhin für Hilfe anbietet, Tuck Tuck bestellen, Wäsche waschen organisiert, beim Fahrradmieten behilflich ist..........! Es war eine entspannte Woche, mit Wohfühlkarakter. Hier komme ich gerne wieder her.

Chandran est une perle ! Il anticipe et résoud le moindre de vos besoins et désirs. De plus, c’est un homme à tout faire et il cuisine très bien. La proximité de la plage et le bruit des vagues depuis notre chambre. Le bon petit déjeuner à la carte.

Sand Dune was an absolute pleasure to stay at. The location is perfect — right on the beach with beautiful views and a super relaxed atmosphere. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and sunsets here was unforgettable.

The place is so quite and peaceful that I would recommend it to everyone who needs quite time away from the main arugambay street. Which is still not far away for everyone who wants to have a bit more going on. Place is neat, staff is the most friendliest in whole of Sri Lanka I have met. The kindest people. Specially Chandiran. He is the kindest soul and his cooking skills are like my moms! I’m amazed! Definitely coming again with more family and friends.

We attempted several times to contact the hotel before arriving, but received no response. Upon reaching the location, the hotel was locked and there was no staff present. We tried again to contact the hotel, but were unsuccessful. As a result, we were forced to book alternative accommodation. This reflects extremely irresponsible management, and we do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
