Sand Dune Beach Hotel & Surf Camp

Everything was incredible. The owner is an incredibly kind person, he helped me with everything from organising tuk tuks, to organising and cooking food, always providing fresh juice and fruits, always asking if I needed anything. He can organise safaris and surf camps too. He provided everything I needed to make a small fire each night outside my home. We became family in only a week. There is a tuk tuk driver available on site too. The location is absolutely beautiful, quiet, sounds of the waves, magical stars, the accomodation is wonderful clean homey, with hammock and small kitchen, everything you need. I rented a bicycle to get to Arugam bay town, only a 5 min ride. I completely recommend to everyone to stay here. Thank you so much sand dune resort!!! Will come back one day when I return to Sri Lanka. 🙏

Our family bungalow for four people was right in the dunes and we could see the waves rolling in from our window. This view in combination with the delicious breakfast was a perfect start into the day. If you have a chance, just ask them if they can cook Sri Lankan food for dinner - you surely won‘t regret it, it was delicious. The staff went out of their way to make all our wishes come true. They are the best! We had so much fun and miss them already! We will come back for sure! Thank you much for everything!

De huisjes zagen er super leuk en goed uit, de locatie was ook top! Aan zee.

De service was echt wel goed, maar er was een meneer die de hele tijd rondliep die niet goed Engels sprak, hierdoor moesten we vaak een tijd wachtenzodat er iemand anders kwam

Friendly and very helpful staff. Good location for access to beach and town. Very good breakfast.

Tea and coffee making facility in room. More protection in room from mosquitoes- net was not enough of a deterrent.
