Really nice place facing the see, with nice bar and friendly staff. Host is really nice, helpful and interesting person. Give us tips and helped to catch a crazy sri lankan bus! Enjoyed staying there

A lovely family, and a great location! It really felt like paradise! It was our first two nights in Sri Lanka that we spent here (I am writing this review after 10 days in Sri Lanka). We got greatest value for the food we ordered here, with an incredibly complete breakfast for only 1000 Rs (including roti, curry, sambal, omelet, fresh juice, coffee, tea). The price per night was relatively high compared to other accommodations that we had later on our trip - but still not expensive. The owner explained that it is very costly to maintain an accommodation directly on the beach because of the damage the sea water causes. And they really took very well care of this little paradise. Also good to know that you can book a very newly built apartment with AC and also great views or a room with ventilator. We had both because we were 7 people and we loved both!

We did not have mosquito nets, which almost was a reason not to book here. In the end there were no mosquitos at all , so it didn’t matter. But I think it will attract more guests if mosquito nets would be provided.

Overwhelming ocean view (and sound). Very nice host Indika. Easy to get a Tuktuk or local bus to Galle or elswhere

Not the fault of the guesthouse, but still a pity: garbage/plastic on a the best the beach (general problem on most beaches)

Location, by the beach and quiet.

We had the most wonderful stay at Indika’s Beach Villa. The location is so beautiful and sleeping listening to the waves is special. The food was incredible and Indika is a warm and friendly host. We celebrated my 31st birthday and Indika went above and beyond to get me a birthday cake and even let off a big sparkler - couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Just to note that the rooms do not have air con but they do have a big fan and you get a lovely sea breeze!

Indika, his wife and his crew made our stay with their friendliness and professional attitude unforgettable. We loved our room upstairs with a full view over the thundering ocean, the waves our lullaby. As we were there at the beginning of the rainy season, the sea took the beach, but only a few metres away was a big sandy beach that was lovely. But the best part was the common area, facing the ocean, where also the locals enjoyed spending time and having a drink. We ate every dinner and breakfast there and the food was fantastic. Thank you very much! Just to be clear, as someone mentioned before, don‘t expect luxury or you will get disappointed. We loved it very much!
